Yes...we have reviewed abundant information pertaining to food for skin...Good nutrition is essential not only for great looking skin but overall health as well. Therefore, we need to acquire a harmony that benefits us as individuals. So...if you hunger to magnify the appearance of your skin, be diligent and chow down on the food for skin listed below.

Food for Skin and other Benefiting Tips...

  1. Exercise. Boosts your circulation and gives your face a healthy glow. Good for you!
  2. Get Sleep. Helps rejuvenate the entire body including your skin.
  3. Protect your skin from UV rays.
  4. Drink plenty of non-chlorinated water. Water hydrates, flushes toxins, aids in digestion, circulation and improves many other bodily functions! Very important to hydrate.
  5. Almonds. Great food for your face. Antioxidant, high in Vitamin E which helps moisturize and soften skin. Aids in preventing the premature appearance of wrinkles, pimples and dry skin. Almond oil has been used for treating dark circles around the eyes, hair problems and replenishing the skin.
  6. Avocados. Abundant in essential oils Vitamins E, C and B complex. It acts as an anti-inflammatory and soothes red irritated skin. It also produces collagen. Collagens are responsible for the production of new cells and tissues. Keeps your complexion nourished, helps prevent dry skin, brittle hair and nails. This food for skin acts effectively as a facial mask which improves skin texture.
  7. Berries. Blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries. All rich in antioxidant and great source of vitamin C, vitamin E and riboflavin. Blueberries are especially high in antioxidants. However, all berries produce collagen making skin smooth and healthy. Fresh or frozen is good.

  11. Green Tea. Drink green tea warm or cold, but avoid the sugar. This tonic is a cancer preventative and antioxidant. Has many health benefits including anti-aging properties. Contains catechin polyphenols that are great for your skin. Green tea is a good natural sun protectant, slows skin aging and may be good for acne.
  12. Leafy Greens. Including spinach, kale etc. These provide vitamins A, E and others, minerals, antioxidants, and phytochemicals to fight disease, strengthen skins protective tissue, flush toxins, limit acne, and protect skin from free radical damage.   15. Parsley. Balances combination skin, reduces redness and swelling, tones, helps reduce pimples and prevents wrinkles. Yes...Use it for eliminating swollen eyes, strengthening hair and a topical treatment for bruises.
  16. Salmon. Salmon contains Omega 3's fatty acids. These nutrients add softness to your skin and improve skin elasticity helping decrease wrinkles and firm the skin. It also may aid in decreasing clogged pores and reducing skin blemishes.
  17. Tomatoes. Rich in lycopene...Tomatoes are an excellent antioxidant, can fight illness and contains a high vitamin content including beta-carotene. Organic tomatoes contain more lycopene than conventionally farmed ones. And, for added lycopene, cook your tomatoes. These fruit nutrients may help slow down cellular damage from free radicals. They also possess cancer-preventative properties and contain the ability to help cells from oxygen damage.
  18. Walnuts. High in Omega-3s, rich in antioxidants, anti-aging, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antiseptic, and contain all of the vitamin B's and E to promote glowing skin. Walnuts contain linoleic acid, which also helps maintain the skin's structure.
